Driver Manual 3X Fail
This online driver's manual course is based on Virginia's Driver's Manual to help better prepare persons for the learner's permit knowledge test. If you have failed the learner's permit knowledge test or renewal test three times, DMV requires that you take this online 8 hour course before given the opportunity to retest. The course must be completed in its entirety prior to the issuance of a certificate of completion. This online driver's manual course must be completed through a DMV-licensed driver trainer school.

In order to benefit from this course, you must be able to work independently and be comfortable with using a computer.
Students under age 18 who fail the general knowledge test three times:
If you complete the required classroom portion of driver’s education (consisting of 36 fifty-minute classroom sessions) after you fail three times, you may present the certificate of completion* such as a DEC-1** (from the public or private school), or DTS 36 (from a DMV-licensed driver training school) to satisfy the three-times failure.
If you complete the classroom component of driver education before failing the knowledge test three times, you may take the eight-hour driver’s manual course online or in-person to satisfy the three times failure. You must provide your certificate of completion* such as a DEC-1** (from the public or private school) or DTS 36 (from a DMV-licensed driver training school) to the email address of the school that will be providing the Driver's Manual course before you enroll in the Driver’s Manual Course.
Instructions for Taking the Online Course
First, you must pay for the online course by clicking on the "Course & Lessons" tab on the home screen. Once payment is received, you will receive an email from unclegerisdrivingacademy@gmail.com with the direct link to the online course where you should register. This link allows you to return to your online sessions at any time to complete the course at your own pace.
If you would rather not pay for the course online, you can contact us to pay in person and the link will be emailed to you at that time.
Open booking testing is not permitted.
The certificate of completion will be electronically transmitted (email) to all individuals upon successful completion of the course within 24 hours.
The certificate of completion must be printed on 8½" x 11 plain white bonded paper. DMV will not accept certificates printed on color or specially designed paper or paper with any form of an advertisement on the front or back of the certificate. DMV will not accept any certificates that have been altered in any way.

The $25.00 registration fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) paperwork, including the preparation and submission of required documents. It also includes the filing of your license, certification documents and any applicable payment processing fees, ensuring that all necessary steps are completed efficiently and in compliance with state regulations.
